Transfers

This week I left Ajapnyak and am now living in a place called Charentsavan. I feel like I have been so lucky when it comes to weather. I have lived in the coolest places in the summer and the warmest in the winter. In Charenstavan it is somewhere that will not be that hot. So yeah I just feel like I have been blessed.

This week I left Elder Bergeson and now I am with Elder Vincent. He is from Holliday, Utah. I am super excited to get to work with him, but most of all i am just excited to be in a new area and find out how I can help this area to prosper. There is a lot of work that needs to be done here and we just have to take it one step at a time. So yeah other than that not a whole ton of things happened.

If you have not read President Monson's talk about The Book of Mormon I would suggest that you do. It is one of the last talks that we will hear from our prophet and I can say to read, but it will come a lot better coming from him than me. I know that reading everyday will bless each and everyone of your lives. Doing the basic things are what are going to keep us going on the right path. I love each and every one of you and have an amazing week.

Hiked Aragats

So this week we hiked the highest mountain in all of Armenia and had a mission conference on the top of Aragats. It was a really good meeting. A few of the things that I liked from the meeting was when they asked us what was our relationship with Christ and who is His. I hope that this is something that all of you can answer and if you can not, do everything you can to figure it out. It will help you so much to have a relationship with Him and be able to lean on Him in your times of need.
One more thing that I liked was in one of the missionaries final testimonies. He said "Christ is the source." We can not do anything in this life if it were not for Him. All the work that I do is good, but I really do not have any control. This is his work and I am just here to try my best and make it so that I can be prepared to do his work. Christ really is the source of everything and should be.
So other than that this week. We have transfers coming up this week and I found out that I will be in Charedzavan. It is a small area, but there is work to be done. So if you want to look up where I am that is where I'll be for the next 6 months.

Book of Mormon referral

This week not all that eventful, but we did meet with some people. We had a branch activity, and met with a Book of Mormon referral.
So sorry this is going to be a short letter, but I just wanted to talk about the branch activity for a little bit. If you ever have a branch activity and can invite someone to it you should. We were able to invite some of our investigators to the activity and it was a really good opportunity for them to meet some members of the church in a setting that was not as scary as church. So if you have any friends that you can invite to activities invite them. The worst that they can say is no, but you will feel good that you were able to invite them to the activity.
This week, I was also able to learn a lot about the Jewish Faith. The Book of Mormon referral was someone that was a practicing Jew. We found out what he could and couldn't eat and how he has to keep the 613 commandments. a lot of different things. We have not found out exactly why he wants to read The Book of Mormon because when he asked he said just to study it, but he has read all the way through 1st Nephi and we have been able to testify of the truthfulness of the book to him. I think as he continues to read and meet with us we will be able to help him learn of the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon.
I know that the Lord loves you very much and continue to do your best each and everyday. Only we know what our best is and if we are doing that then it is okay with the Lord.

The Book of Mormon

This week was a really good week. We had a really good opportunity to meet with some people that I think might actually progress. One of them was someone that we met on the street and was saying that he had a lot of problems that he has been searching for the answer, but couldn't find. So we told him that we could help him, but he would have to come to church at 11 and then at 12 we could answer his questions. So we did that and he came to church and we were able to set a return appointment to talk more about his problems.

Then with the other one it was someone that has met with the missionaries for quite some time and for some reason was not baptized. He seems interested, but we just need to find out why he did not get baptized in the first place.
With our members we are also working with them so that they all read from the Book of Mormon. Last conference Thomas S Monson, our prophet gave a talk just on the Book of Mormon. We have been making sure every one of our members is doing just that. If they are reading it, it will invite the Spirit to their home and they will feel the Spirit for themselves. They will create that desire to come to church for themselves instead of some friend that invited them. You all should just read the Book of Mormon and invite the Spirit into your homes.

Summer

So this week was a good week. We were able to visit a lot of members that we have not been able to see for quite some time. They both have been really offended and just felt like no one cared about them.

The first meeting did not go that well, but it was a step in the right direction. They let us come to their house and we were able to talk about the gospel with them. They still said that we will never come back to church, but we can now go to their house whenever we want.

The second meeting was a lot better. In the beginning we could tell that there were a lot of things that she was mad about, We just meet with the Grandma, but as the meeting went on we were able to testify that the Lord loved her and that she was able to soften up.

Overall this week was pretty good and I can't complain. Look for the good in everything and you will see the Lord's hand in your life. I love you all and have a great week.
